Chance to shine - Educating through cricket

Brit Insurance National Cricket Day (NCD) on Tuesday 22nd May is a day of cricket-themed activity - both in the classroom and in the playground – for schools right across the country. It's absolutely free to get involved and open to all schools and cricket clubs.

Brit Insurance National Cricket Day is an opportunity to celebrate the success so far of Chance to Shine. We provide educational resources - that are free, easy to use, informative and, most importantly, fun for both teachers and for pupils.

With the West Indies touring England at the same time, the event will be Caribbean themed. So get your thinking caps on for activities filled with food, music, colour and even maybe beach cricket! Your school can get involved as much or little as you like and we hope you’ll join us to make this the best year yet!
